Overview

Staffed by a large number of highly-specialized doctors, the Diagnostic Imaging Center engages in not only diagnostic imaging and conferences, but also systematic pre- and post-graduate education and a variety of cross-sectional studies. As a characteristic of this center, the Department of Radiation is also in charge of ultrasonography and gastrointestinal angiography, in addition to CT, MR, and nuclear medicine. It is rare for clinical training hospitals to have such a comprehensive diagnostic imaging center, which also provides diagnostic imaging education for residents and specialists inside and out of Nara Prefecture. In addition, to deal with cases that require advanced expertise, it dispatches doctors directly from the university to related hospitals.
